Kevin Armstrong is a young boy who is confused about why people around him are unhappy. He wants to be happy more than anything in the world, but he just doesn’t know how. On one particular day he is very discouraged by all the negativity around him and goes to see his father at the boat dock. His father is not there, but the boat is. He climbs in the boat and, not realizing it, floats out to sea. He discovers an island that is invisible to most people, but Kevin is able to see it. Kevin is welcomed by all the friendly people on the island, and learns the most important lesson a person can learn.
